Vintage Nambe Butterfly Bowl

Nambe describes this piece as follows, “Among Nambé’s earliest designs, the Butterfly Bowl celebrates both form and function. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, the elongated sides gracefully reach upward like wings to create its simple, elegant curves, and its temperature retaining properties make it ideal for serving warm or cold dishes.” Designed by Richard K Thomas in the late 1960s, it is made of Nambe’s signature alloy blend of eight metals. It does not chip or peel and is resistant to tarnish. Made in New Mexico.
