Frame in oak with curved back plate in teak and the combination has become a sign of good Danish design!
The hind legs go up in the back and the anchorage to the back plate becomes a visible decoration.
The chair was designed in 1957 and has over time become a real design icon. Wegner is known for its minimalist and innovative design classics and this model is one of his most famous and appreciated.
A very comfortable chair that, despite its light appearance, has formidable stability. Perfect for both teak tables and oak tables, but of course also laminated tables!
All chairs are stamped under the seat.
52 cm wide, 45/76 cm high.
In very fine condition with new upholstery with high bearing capacity and upholstery in black soft leather from Tärnsjö Tannery.
