Set of 4 original side chairs designed by Harry Bertoia in the 1950s for Knoll International with original black seat pads. As Knoll say: “Innovative, comfortable and strikingly handsome, Harry Bertoia side chair delicate filigree appearance belies its strength and durability”. As Bertoia said: “If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them.” Brilliant. Welded steel with rods of chrome polish paint. In good vintage condition – bought from the original owner. 74.5 cm H x 53.5 cm W x 57.5 cm D.
