Vintage Design
The Barcelona Chair is probably the most famous design of one of the biggest heads of the Bauhaus: leather, joie de vivre, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe 1929, with Knoll/Knoll/Knoll font under the seat cushion.
The beautiful Barcelona Chair with Ottoman in Cognac-Orange/coral sound is an absolute eye-catcher and fits great with the trendy peach look.
Today the chrome-plated free-swinging steel stand with X-foal struts can be admired in the-rebuilt Barcelona pavilion.
Here with red-brown leather, stapled and chewed, leather straps and everything in very nice condition:
– H 80cm, B 75cm
– Ottoman 56x56cm, H 40cm
– only slight signs of wear/patina
– 1 button on the Ottoman went off – which is actually not noticeable in daily use (can be replaced by the upholsterer)
– fits wonderfully with other design classics, see pictures
