Vintage Design
Beautiful and extremely rare double-decker sideboard designed by female designer Florence Knoll. She designed a series of these sideboards in the early 1950s, which were produced until the late 1970s and early 1980s. No longer produced today.
Because in Belgium Knoll furniture was made under license by the company ‘De Coene Frères’ (for the Benelux and other countries around), this furniture was ‘a lot’ purchased by monasteries, schools and public buildings. This cabinet has been used in one of these places. It is unfortunately not marked with the Knoll sticker on the back.

This sideboard is made of walnut and formica and is in near mint condition. There is only some wear to the saddle leather pulls and a few very small spots on the highboard itself.
