Outstanding quality 18th century antique Dutch marquetry inlaid burr walnut bureau bookcase having an outstanding quality Dutch marquetry inlaid burr walnut bureau bookcase with a shaped cornice above a pair of marquetry inlaid panelled doors opening to reveal an adjustable shelved interior above a bombe shaped bureau with a fitted interior consisting of 8 drawers, pigeon holes, pair of leather bookends, centre door opening to reveal a secret drawer and a sliding well above 5 bombe shaped drawers with original ornate brass handles. Fantastic marquetry inlaid sides standing on carved walnut paw feet united by a shaped carved walnut apron.
A spectacular example crafted to the highest standard with the most incredible marquetry inlay and superior design. A showcase breathtaking original piece.
