1952 Vintage Signed Monet “Maharani” Goldtone Necklace

This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.

Pale goldtone rope pattern linkes necklace with double fold over clasp. Marked “Monet.” Measures: 5 5/8 inches long by 5 3/8 inches wide. Interior circumference about 15 1/2 inches. Condition: Very good; some wear to the back. An identical necklace was advertised in a 1952 advertisement. A picture of the advertisement is shown on pg. 128 with the matching bracelet and a fancier version of this necklace with drops is shown on pg. 129 of Alice Vega’s book Monet; The Master Jewellers.” The matching bracelet is also available for purchase.
