1987-88 Vintage Napier Book Piece Rhinestone Collar Necklace

This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.

Goldtone pearlized resin and pave clear rhinestone jointed collar necklace with fold over clasp. Marked “Napier.” Measures: 6 3/4 inches long by 5 7/8 inches wide. Condition: Good; upon close inspection there is some surface scratches to the pearlized section and small spot of loss to goldtone on the back. Produced in 1987-88 this originally retailed for $100. An identical necklace is shown on pg 614 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen’s book “The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry.”
