A 19th century English medicine chest by Clay and Abraham, Liverpool. A small antique mahogany medicine cabinet with brass handle dating from the early 19th century, which opens through the double doors to reveal an arrangement of bottles, with labels and contents, multiple drawers including weighing instruments and weights, mortar and pestle. A trade label on the bottles for Clay, Abraham Chemists, Liverpool. Their Shop on Bold Street The interior of the medicine chest has 14 compartments with antique glass bottles with stopper and the chest has 7 drawers The measurement of the chest is 20 cm square and 21,5 cm high. The bottles are 9.5cm x 4cm The total weight is approx. 5110 grams.
