Vintage Design
This T chair, model 3LC, was designed by Douglas Kelly, Ross Littell, and William Katavolos for Laverne International in New York in 1952. In the early 1950s, Erwine and Estelle Laverne made an effort to relate fine and applied arts which resulted in several sculptural series of furniture. The chair is made from chromed tubular steel, lacquered flat steel, and natural leather with hidden screws that attach the leather seat to the frame.
