This stunning original Victorian Pitch Pine library bookcase with vintage circa 1950’s mid century painted finish A very good looking well made and decorative piece of English country furniture. It can be used as a library bookcase or as a kitchen dining cabinet for plates and so on. The original intention is of course as a bookcase. It has the 1950’s paint which is thick and has a little shine to it, it is nicely distressed and aged exactly as you like to find it The bookcase splits into two easy to transport pieces. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
