Vintage Design
Great dining room set with extendable round dining table and six matching rosewood dining chairs. Designed by E. W. Bach and manufactured by Skovby Møbelfabrik Denmark in the 1960s.
The table comes with three extension leaves, one with apron. Round tapered legs in solid rosewood/palisander.
Height of table: 72 cm. Diameter: 120 cm. Fully extended: 273 cm.
Makers mark underneath. Original tool for removing the legs is included.
The chairs features the desirable backrest with rolled edge with very expressive rosewood grain. Frame in solid rosewood. Round tapered legs. Fitted with the original mocca colored leatherette upholstery.
This chair is often attributed to Harry Østergaard, as he has designed a similar model.

A very fine example of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern interior design that will compliment many interiors and styles. Wonderfully timeless elegance.
Very good original condition with only light patina consistent with age and use. Set has cleaned and gently refreshed. One small repair the leatherette and a few minor scratches and dull spots on the surface of the table.

Light wear consistent with age and use, Very good original condition with only light patina consistent with age and use. Set has cleaned and gently refreshed. One small repair to the leatherette on one chair and some minor scratching and wear to the table top.
