Vintage Design
1st edition Maggiolina chairs by Zanotta designed by Marco Zanuso, the 1950s. The black cowhide sling supports one large newly upholstered brown leather cushion with a goose feather filling. A stainless steel frame supports this very comfortable and sleek lounge chair. The difference between a 1st edition and a later edition is that the armrests are made of plastic instead of the newer leather ones. The Maggiolina chair was originally designed for a competition held by the MoMa in New York and it has remained an icon of 20th century design ever since.
