Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this brand new, George Smith Signature Scroll Arm large sofa with feather filled back and base cushions upholstered with the exceptionally luxury Mulberry Flying Ducks Velvet. This sofa is the absolutely finest quality available today, it has a beech and oak frame that has horse hair, fibre and feather padding to the back, it is deeper than normal and the seat cushions are overstuffed with down feathers. The upholstery is the world famous and highly coveted Mulberry Flying Ducks, this is the highest grade of this type fabric and it is very tricky to find and is usually on back order for 3-6 months much the same with the sofa frame which is a 12-24 week order time. The sofa has been professionally upholstered with very close attention being paid to the pattern repeat, if you look closely and the seat cushion you will see the fabric flows from the top of the cushion to the front down to the bottom platform of the sofa I actually have three of these sofas, one more is being upholstered in this fabric but a slightly different shade, it has more of a white background with slightly redder ducks, the last one I haven’t quite decided what to upholster it in yet.
