The irori is the central fireplace that was laid in the ground of the old Japanese houses. Used for cooking, heating, lighting, but also to meet, it was the axis around which organized the life inside the house.

Remember the primitive hut, he also recalls our ”cantous” Limousin, the central fireplaces of Bresse or ”killed” the houses of the Haut-Doubs. The magic of fire remains a universal feeling and the term ”home” still symbolizes the protective space and warm the house.

The low Irori table uses the principle of the original central hearth that brings us together. The hearth, fictional, is protected by a tempered glass 6mm thick and with a remote-controlled LED lighting by an independent housing. Surrounding the home is made of cherry burned and oiled.

The hearth, only decorative, is the memory and the symbol of a fire we need to rekindle. Each of finding the flame that will restore his magic at home.
