Modern dining table or desk, cast iron, tempered glass and wood, Frate model by Enzo Mari for Driade Italia, c. 1980. Frate model dining table or desk with rectangular tempered glass top with rounded corners, frame composed of a square-section solid wood beam, to which four cast iron legs with anthracite finish are screwed. Produced by Driade in c. 1980 and designed by Enzo Mari in 1973. Brand present. Good condition, has slight scratches on the top visible only against the light and some marks on the frame. Measurements in cm 200x78x72h, base width 140cm Enzo Mari, born in Novara, Italy in 1932, worked in a variety of directions, from graphic design to design and architecture. In 2002, the Faculty of Architecture of Milan Polytechnic University awarded him an honorary degree in industrial design.
