Vintage Design
A 19th century French Napoleon III square back armchair with a tall back and a wide generous seat. The walnut frame is raised on long turned legs with original brass castors to both the front and the rear leg. The armchair has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid walnut frame for upholstery with a new coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added before being finished in blue stripe ticking upholstery. French, circa 1870.
