Vintage 1950s Signed Napier Book Piece Goldtone Spiral Collar Necklace

This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.

1950s goldtone two snake chains with smooth spiral center collar necklace with hook clasp. Marked on the hook “Napier.” Measures: 5 1/2 inches long by 5 inches wide. Center: 1 1/8 inches long. Interior circumference about 15 1/2 inches maybe as much as 16 inches maximum. Condition: Very good; minor surface wear. An identical necklace is shown on pg. 232 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen’s book “The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry.” The matching clip earrings are also available for purchase.
