Vintage Design
The MR series by Mies van der Rohe was the breakthrough to a springy tubular steel chair in 1927. Both technically and formally, the MR series is a masterpiece. Not only are our two chairs in good condition, from the first production of Berliner Metallgewerbe Josef Müller, with original nickel plating and original mesh with intact age patina. Our furniture also has a unique provenance. The previous owner, an internationally renowned architect from Berlin, acquired the furniture in 1961 at the Berlin gallery Gerd Rosen on the Kurfürstendamm. Since then, the furniture remained in his possession until we could buy it.
