Vintage Design
Made of solid pine it is quite substantial and spacious and could serve a variety of purposes in any home. It is ideal for use as blanket box or perhaps for storing clothes, a nice alternative to a traditional chest of drawers.
The chest is rectangular with a lift up lid to the top which opens to reveal a clean and spacious interior.
At the bottom of the chest are two spacious drawers which are finished with turned wooden handles.
The wood has a waxed finish which is fairly matt.
CONDITION
This piece is in solid structural condition with many cosmetic marks of age and use.
There is a lot of evidence of old worm damage which makes the chest look quite characterful.
One of the back edges is quite worn, please see the photos.
Generally in solid but very characterful and rustic condition.
Treated for woodworm and ready for use.
