Vintage Signed Napier Book Piece Silvertone “Doris Day” Clip Earrings – 2 Pieces

This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.

Silvertone curley-que rope texture clip back earrings. Marked “Napier.” Measure: 1 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide. Condition: Very good; some wear particularly to backs, some tarnish. These are from Napier’s 1956 Doris Day line of jewelry, which was promoted by Doris Day. Identical earrings are shown on pg. 313 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen’s book “The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry.”
